The Problem:
Your Home and Businesses Waste Power
American and Canadian homes & businesses have the same problem. They inefficiently handle inductive loads. |
Inductive load is anything in the home that runs by motor including refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, heat pumps, washers, dryers, fans, blower motors, pool pumps, dish washers, vacuum cleaners and hair dryers. You get the picture, right?
All motors require a certain amount of reactive power (non-working power) from the utility to create the electro-magnetic field (EMF) around the motor ro make it work. The problem is that your local utility delivers that reactive power to your home without knowing how much you really need. Your inductive load (motors) then uses what it needs and sends the rest back to your electric panel where it is "lost" - returned into the grid or dispersed in heat never to be seen again. This loss is called "I2R" loss or "line-loss". The problem with this equation is that you've paid for the lost electricity because it's traveled through your meter and been measured. |

Installation

FOR YOUR SAFETY: California Power Save recommend's the use of a Qualified, Trained, Licensed Electricians to install your newly purchased Power-Save, regardless of whether it is a residential Power-Save 1200™ or either one of the commercial Power-Save's (Model 3200 or 3400). The Power-Save 1200 can be easily installed, and you should be up an operational in as little as one day. Power-Save 3200 and 3400 installations must be researched by our installation technicians. An estimate of install time and cost will then be calculated. |
